Skrea Old Honey

This is a take on the classic old fashioned. But we swap the raw sugar for honey and the whisky for our cask-aged gin. A stiff drink, perfect to sit and sip through the cosy winter months.

Ingredients

  • 6 cl Barrel Aged Series Gin 2025
  • 1 cl honey syrup*
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • A strip of lemon zest

Method

  1. 01Stir the gin, honey syrup and Angostura bitters in a glass
  2. 02Add ice
  3. 03Stir
  4. 04Run the lemon zest around the glass and drop it into the drink

Other instructions

*Honey syrup

Mix equal parts honey and water, bring to the boil and chill. Keeps a week in the fridge (and freezes well).
