The second release in our own spirits series, Barrel Aged Series.
In 2024 we took the Caribbean, Jämtland and Skrea Backe, threw them all in a bag and gave it a good shake. When the bag opened, out came BAS 2024.
This year's release is built on our Ocean Strength Gin, which spent more than two years in a Caribbean rum cask. Once we emptied the cask we added cloudberries picked by our friends at Skoogs in Funäsdalen. A few weeks later we strained the berries off, leaving a lovely berry note in the gin.
The 2024 design is by Emeli and Mathias, the couple behind Norrsken Studios and Fjelltopp in Tänndalen, the village next to Funäs.
The gin is made to be enjoyed neat, and launches at Systembolaget on 13/1-25 at 10.00 — 465 bottles.
