Semmel Gin

Semmel Gin is our reading of a Swedish classic in liquid form. Inspired by the beloved semla bun, but always with the fundamental character of gin at the centre, we have made a limited gin where tradition meets curiosity and craft.

The gin is distilled with almond, vanilla and cardamom — flavours that clearly bring the semla to mind — balanced by classic gin botanicals such as juniper, coriander seed and fresh bergamot. The result is a round, aromatic gin with soft spice, a light nuttiness and fresh citrus. The structure is clear and elegant, with an expression that reads as gin rather than dessert.

Semmel Gin is made with the same care and respect for the raw material as all our distillates. The inspiration is playful, but the execution is serious — a spirit where balance and craft always come first.

Excellent in a classic gin & tonic, but it also comes into its own in more creative cocktails, and wherever you want to play on the border between drink and dessert.
