Skrea Habba-berry Margarita
A take on the classic spicy margarita. Here we swap the tequila for our summer gin, then mix it with a strawberry and habanero syrup. Fresh, lovely and a little spicy — the perfect summer drink!

Ingredients
- 5 cl Summer Gin 2025
- 3 cl lime juice
- 2 cl strawberry syrup*
- 1–2 cl habanero syrup**
- Habanero to garnish
Method
- 01Combine all the ingredients in a shaker
- 02Shake with ice until well chilled
- 03Strain into a suitable glass with ice — you can also salt the rim of the glass if you like.
- 04Garnish with a slice of habanero

Strawberry syrup*
- 250 g strawberries
- 50 cl sugar
- 50 cl water
- Bring the sugar and water to the boil
- Drop in the strawberries
- Blend and strain
Freezes well.
Habanero syrup**
- 1–2 habaneros
- 50 cl sugar
- 50 cl water
- Bring the sugar and water to the boil.
- Slice the habanero
- Pour the hot syrup over the habanero
- Leave in the fridge for a day
- Strain
Freezes well.
